Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lately, my fuel light will come on, the guage will drop, then after a few seconds, the light will go off, and the guage will go back to normal. It will do this even if I am stopped in traffic. Is there a plug somewhere that could be loose/dirty/broken?

Sounds like a bad fuel level xmitter. but make sure everything at the tank is connected and if possible, everything to the gauge cluster is connected.

Thank you. Do you know any specific locations of any of the connectors. I have occasional access to a lift, but time is usually limited, so that would be of great help, if possible. Also, where is the fuel level xmitter located? Is it in the tank, attached to the tank, etc?
