Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000 dodge Durango 5.2 sport. I stopped at
a light and it shut off as soon as I gave it
gas. I restarted it but as soon as I put it in
gear it shut off again. I had to double pedal
it to get it to go. Then as soon as I stopped
again it ran fine.

Could be idle air control valve dirty or faulty. Also could be egr valve sticking open.

Could be the battery is going bad, have it load tested and clean the connectors, also check if the Alternator is giving out over 14 volts like it should do.
