Asked by Rene Feb 09, 2019 at 09:33 AM about the 2009 Dodge Charger Police RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My charger recently (in cold weather.) Has been
dying after leaving it off for the night. I have
changed the alternator and am using a brand new
battery. What could this be?

Use a voltmeter to check the battery and alternator. With the vehicle off, the voltage should be around 12.6 at the battery. With it running, it should be around 14.6 at the battery
