Won't shift into overdrive

I have a 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible and it
after 40 miles an hour it won't shift

Probably has a bad speed sensor at the transmission. My guess is that you can stop, shut it off and restart it and it will shift again for a short period of time.

Yep. Exactly. Like sometimes it still b fine but then it'll go back to not shifting
