2005 Mustang GT Cranking But No Start Up

Asked by Deandrae Jan 15, 2020 at 10:50 AM about the 2005 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello! This is actually my first question on here, I'm having
problems with the car not starting up. The car had been
sitting for 6+ months and hasn't been started up since.
When o received it, I had change out the Oil, Spark Plugs,
fuel filter, fuel pump, air filter, a new battery and took out
the old gas and replaced it with new gas. I hear the fuel
pump prime when turning the key, there is fuel getting to
the rail, but still no start. It sputters up ONLY  with starting
fluid but no idle. Im thinking a fuel related issue. I'll be doing
a fuel pressure test later today to confirm how much is
flowing through. I'm not sure if any fuel is getting past the
injectors, as I'm not sure if they are clogged and preventing
the start.

Any other things that may cause this perhaps?

check for spark , then check the injectors for pulse or pull one and take a look at it .

I'll go ahead and try that in a few hours with the Plug and try to listen for a noise when cranking it from the Injectors. Hoping it's something minor

you need a noid light to check for injector pulse , some vehicles need proper spark and fuel pressure just having it won't do . If you're going to work on your own car there are tools you will need . The days of pissing on a spark plug are history
