My Mustang V6 stopped working properly

Asked by Mario Nov 05, 2015 at 12:23 PM about the 2005 Ford Mustang Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My mustang 2005 stopped running
correctly. Today I turned on my car in the
afternoon and it was fine. I ran it for 4
minutes... I didn't do anything wrong just
normally drove... Then the 'overdrive off'
light came on... And the car felt heavier
or slower like if it was in 2nd gear.(It's
automatic). I then stopped the car and
turned it off for a little bit... I turned it
back on and now the check engine light
was on. The car was slow it wouldn't
accelerate it was like if i was barely
giving it Any gas. It's just super heavy/
slow. But the reverse works just fine. No
issues what so ever. No difference. The
engine sounds great. There are no noises
coming from the car that are odd. No
fuses are burnt. I took it to AutoZone and
a mechanic neither know what's wrong
with it. At AutoZone they checked the
codes for the check engine light and 10
came up they are the following: solenoid
control circuit, solenoid circuit 2
condition, circuit condition, Evaporative
emission system purge/vent 2x, Heated
oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1 and 2,
system fault (exhaust gas recirculation) I
don't have an exhaust right now don't
know if that's an issue, pressure control
solenoid 1 2 and 3 low voltage.... Those
are the issues found in code. Motor oil is
at level. And I haven't checked the
transmission oil at all. I bought this car 4
months ago. And I haven't checked nor
changed the transmission oil and don't
know when the previous person did.
Thank you everyone

Looks like you learned a lesson to check your cars fluids. Sounds like this could be costly, i dont know much with cars but seems as though your trans is having issues, you might have ruined it.
