What causes a 2005 2,7 Sebring Convertible to act as if there is a bad ground when the ground is good?

I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring touring convertible with a 2.7 V6.  I got in the car the other
day and turned the key and got one "Click".  I cleaned all the battery cable ends, used
electric grease on each connection and it still does nothing.  I replaced the starter and
solenoid and still nothing.  I swapped the relays and still won't do anything.  The battery is
good and my jump starter gets the same result..  nothing.  I did notice that my trip
computer/compass dims out when I turn the key to the start position, and my radio is
totally dead.  All of the other accessories work with the key in the on position.  ac,
windows, door locks etc all function..  any clues?

Try putting the key n disconnect the cable from the positive side turn the key to the on position n reconnect the cable cuz it may b that the alarm locked the car

Put the trans in neutral. Get a wrench and see if you can turn the engine by hand. The fact that everything is dimming implies the computer is telling the starter to fire but it can not rotate. You also have the 2.7 which has a habit of spontaneously freezing up. Also check that the master power bolts are tight at the other side of the battery cable.
