What happens if I disconnect the harness from the throttle body

Asked by Andres Feb 02, 2021 at 12:39 AM about the 2011 Kia Forte SX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I need to clean the throttle body harness terminals, how do I clean them
without deprogramming the throttle body? Should I remove the battery? Or just
the negative terminal or what should I do? Thank you very much

If you do it while the engine is off, I see no problem. Just remember to plug it back in when done (and make sure any cleaner that is used will not harm the TB sensor you are disconnecting).
