I checked the release motor and it works fine when power is applied but not by
button or key

Hey i have same situation but i got fixed it.. you need check all fuse positions.. exactly right place i added right picture.!!

My box does not have the same fuses in it as yours.

Button on trunk won’t open truck. Where are the fuses? In the trunk?

If you have convertible and the close or open operation did not complete, rear taillights will flash twice, but trunk stays shut.
