2011 Silverado will not move, forward or reverse

Asked by Forneytxdave Apr 22, 2017 at 07:50 AM about the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab RWD

Slowed down to turn off  the main st to a side
street. The vehicle bucked, then wouldn't go over
20 mph. At home, it was turned off and restarted. It
would not go forward or reverse. The rpm won't go
up either.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a engine problem, should have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes, this would tell you what to look for. I am suspecting the Throttle Positioning Sensor on the throttle body, or the electronic gas pedal.
