How to deter forced entry

Question type: General

Hi
I have a 2011 Mercedes GL 350 and even though I lock
the door every night the rear hatch is wide open the
next day! I'm assuming someone programmed a fob to
open the hatch since there was no forced entry and no I
didn't accidently hit the rear hatch button either.
I can't install any hidden cameas since I live in an
apartment.Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
Mark

Sounds more like a problem with the fob than someone messing around with the vehicle. Remove the battery from the fob and see if it continues. If not the fob is the problem. If someone were opening the vehicle, they'd be stealing the vehicle or something inside of the vehicle. Or you'd see other damage from someone trying to steal the vehicle. Hope that helps! Jim
