Front hub spindle nut

On a 2011 ford ranger with 77000 miles does the front spindle hub nut need replaced when replacing the wheel hub bearing assembly?

That spindle nut can be reused but be sure to replace the used cotter pin with the same good quality one.

I've always reused them, unless they were obviously worn or damaged.
