A local Ford dealer has a new unsold 2011 Lincoln MKZ AWD,that was originally listed for $42,765. I live in the mountains and could use the AWD. He's offering "a huge price reduction." Any suggestions on what I should offer? I'm considering it for a minimum of 25% off that original asking price.

My wife & I bought a used 2005 Lincoln Avaitor in 2007 for $15K. The SUV was listed for $27k at the time. The dealer hadn't sold a car all day (Sunday). The sales man asked me to make an offer. I said $15k. The sales man called the owner & he accepted my offer. Offer reasonably low. You can always go up.
