Thinking of financing a 2019 Lincoln MKZ, came
across notes that the instrument cluster had failed. It
is currently repaired; however, not sure if it would be
smart to continue thinking of purchasing. Any advice
on this? Is it a big deal?
I wouldn't worry too much about it if its been repaired or replaced. Things break, it happens. Keep in mind that things that used to last the life of the vehicle need replacing at some point now days. They don't make 'em like they used to! Hope that helps! Jim
Not really a big deal, just remember this is a highly computerized vehicle so electronic failures will be something you will have to deal with as they show up. Just make sure you have your favorite shop check it over before you sign anything.
