heater not heating up

the heater is not heating up, what might be the
cause

Common question this time of year. The cooling system has run low of coolant and air collects in the heater core. Top up the radiator and coolant bottle a few times after driving it, to work the bubbles out. Radiator tops up automatically if the radiator cap ($5) is any good and bottle is kept full.
