I'm driving down the street and I stop at the light and my car shuts off but I'm able to start it what is that could it be the fuel regulator

Clean or replace your EGR valve. If no change, clean your IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. Post back with results. If you buy a new IAC, you can get one from Rockauto.com for $70-$100 depending on brand. Here is a short IAC video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-PLZSnWQZ8
