I have a 2005 Cadillac Deville and it has multiple things going on. First thing is when I'm driving it and slow down to make a turn or to stop it will just die on me and I'll have to restart it. Before it does this, while pushing on the gas it will cut out off and on like there is something going on with the fuel injection. Any thoughts or solutions?

I purchased a 03 DEVILLE WITH 117K ON IT. during HIGHWAY DRIVING the digital temp gage holds at the first line about half way and stays there. when I leave the highway and get into traffic the temp goes up and the overheat warning comes on. I found out that wheel broke to the water pump and fixed it and it runs fine now.. The part house clerk told me that the 2005 deville Cadillac is programmed to reduce power or shut off before it got to hot to hopefully save the engine. is that true? 1 Answer
