Air conditioning

So I have an 08 1500 with the 4.7...took her to get
the a.c. charged and it won't take all the freon. On
top of that it still blows hot air. Clutch kicks in on
the compressor so shying away from that. Any
ideas???

Would have to put some gauges on to get a better idea but it sounds like a restriction in the system such as a condenser or expansion valve issue. Make sure your vent flaps are operating as well.

A.C condenser coil maybe clogged with dirt and bugs causing little to almost no air flow across the coils clean coils with garden hose and nozzle if radiator sets in front of condenser clean it also to get good air flow to condenser.
