my 2013 Dodge 1500 4.7 is really running sluggish like no power at start off, fuel injector cleaning or transmission fluid and filter change it has 68,000 miles. Anyone else correct this problem? 3 Answers

My husband has a 2010 Dodge PU 1500. His truck had the no-crank issue and with his limited knowledge of vehicles he figured out the ignition was at fault and the dealer recomended a new WCM. He did not however look up how this part and his old key would work, although thevdealer did mention in passing with a smirk,that he'll "probably" need to bring it in to get flashed. So instead of looking up possible solutions such as the battery disconnect or the cleaning of the main board inside he paid 405.00 and walked thinking he could just plug the part in and it would run again as usual. So obviously I am in this forum b/c it didn't work. My questions are... does one program the key to the new WCM or the new WCM to the key? Is either programmable without going to a dealer?
