Windshield washers working sporadically.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When washers work fluid sprays and wipers cycle. When not working no fluid
no wipers. Does this indicate a defective washer button on the turn signal
lever? Are the washer pump and wipers interlocked? Wipers work in all other
modes.

My vote is for a new wiper stalk. Contacts inside probably worn, yes usually sold as a unit and the most of the time the steering wheel comes off to do the job. Good Luck!
