Windshield wipers isn't working

Hey guy's I'm having problems with my windshield wipers,
this is what is going on, the wipers would only work when
the truck is in park or neutral. When I turn it on it will work
fine  in park then when I put it in drive it wont turn off
unless I put it neutral  but when it's in drive it wont come
back on until I put it back in neutral, I have changed out the
the switch and it does the same thing..

Are there any other electrical problems like dim or inoperative lights? Goofy shit like this usually turns out to be a ground problem

I just had a new alarm system installed and I'm hoping it's not the problem
