ABS, ECS, DBC all popped up

Asked by e320man Sep 20, 2018 at 06:18 PM about the 2011 Hyundai Tucson Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After some heavy rain, wound up going through a few puddles on the highway.
All of a sudden the ABS, ECS & DBC icons pop up on the dash.  Now they go
off but then all pop back on.  Is there a sensor or wire that ties these all together
?

It sort of doesn't matter. If they are lighting all of a sudden, each one needs to be checked using a sensor code detector, which you can buy on amazon or any local parts store pretty inexpensively. Or you can take it to a shop and have them do it. That should tell you whether the sensors have gone bad (possibly from getting wet) or whether there is an actual problem with each or any of those systems (possibly from getting wet). Just don't ignore them. Good luck!
