why does my car burn so much oil?

Asked by Jay Jul 30, 2011 at 10:08 AM about the 2003 Cadillac DeVille Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

Its caused by blow-by and worn valve seals. Don't accelerate hard and you may see an improvment in the amount of oil consumed, but your engine is showing signs of wear.
