(2x copied) What causes the tank vent hose to leak fluids

before. (Ford fusion 2011)
Please help!

~got a Check Engine warning indicator light
~check engine light came on twice coincidentally (on
separate occasions after being electronically cleared by my
garage mechanic) when driving above 100kph and 1/4tank
~mechanic checked out the check engine and indicated it
was a evap related issues
~cleared it electronically but we can't seem to solve the
problem
~tried to pour fuel injector cleaner into gas tank on two
occasion (tank 1/4 full; and full- after gas fill up)
~fuel injector cleaner poured out of tank vent tube onto the
ground.
~What is causing my tank vent tube to leak everything onto
the ground?

The tube is disconnected from where it should be hooked up. That's also why the check engine light is coming on. Securely reattach the tube, then clear the computer. If the check engine light comes back on you need a smoke test to determine what else is leaking. Hope that helps! Jim
