What is the correct tire size for my car?

My 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid originally came with 235 50 17 tires. when I go to shop for tires online different tire companies keep saying the tire size for my car is 225 50 17. What size tire should I purchase?

There is nothing wrong with going up one size. I would.
