2004 cadillac starts and when I try to put in gear, engine dies.  Happens over
and over.  Is my gas cap bad?  Keeping getting same error code about check
gas cap.

I ran self diagnostic and no codes about this on 2004 Cadillac DeVille. Shouldn’t it show a code to help with resolving? If no codes, what am I to do next?
