whats the biggest size rim I can fit on my 95 bmw 525i

I think you can go up to 19's without any rubbing issues sinse thats what is in the M5. You can also go to tirerack.com a checkout different rims and sizes and see how they will look on your car. If your looking at something even larger than 19's even be prepared to do a lot of custom work to get them to fit without tearing everthing up.
