transmission problem

can you swap a used transmission from a bmw 335i to another bmw 335i?  If
yes, any thing I need know before doing so.  I was told it is not possible.  Is that
true?

Yes, you can. Any transmission shop or BMW independent mechanic should be able to do that for you. - Mike McGovern - Encinitas, CA
