Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My top wont go down automatically, I took it to my local garage and they spent 2 hours
tracking wires and they say there is continuity and no broken wires. He thinks it could be
the top control modulator because it doesn't seem like all 4 motors would go out at the
same time. What do you think?

spray clean each moving knuckle with brake cleaner....follow up with a few drips of tri-flo on each of the moving parts, put the top up and down to work the tri-flow in...think that you are seizing from lack of use and spiders...crud...corrosion has made movement difficult, but tries as hard as it can~
