what sensor in my 2006 cts that causes my car not to start
No one can tell you without more information. Is there a check engine light? Does the motor turn over? Does it have gas?
....many of them can...you've gotta have manny, moe or jack read your diagnostic trouble codes read...crank angle sensor, idle air control, throttle position sensor...get your codes read...buy one for your own~
yes the starter turns, the engine light didn't come... yes 1/2 tank of gas..... my friend hook up a scanner and no codes appeared...
okay, lets start with the basics; air, fuel, spark, timing~
power to the coil-packs? fuel pressure there (you can put the ignition key to the on position without starting and listen for the gasoline to flow into and back through the fuel loop...spark timing, if there should be set correctly~
no codes? huh? no P1002? not even P0000?
no codes.... power to the coil packs, fuel pressure was there he thinks its not get no spark in the correct timing, sounds like the timing is off..
the cam sensor or crank angle sensor would throw up a Check Engine Light~
how about system ground? the battery cable at the other end that connects to the chassis/ground should be wirebrushed clean and good solid contact, though the battery and the starter gets plenty of juice, perhaps the chassis ground isn't.
Does the 2006 caddilac cts have a alarm light thats suppose to be on in the car? I cannot remember. & i dont know if my car clicker is dead or the car battery. But dont want the alarm to go off & cant turn it off. Help....

My 2008 Cadillac CTS doesn't move well, when you clear the code and the check engine it moves normal but when I buy fuel on it, it refuses to move again until you clear the check engine it moves again but if you buy fuel again it stops moving well
My 06 Cadillac CTS 3.6 has new fuel pump, turns over won't start
