having a transmission issue

There was metal shaving in the pan when I replaced the gasket, the car will not
move when I am accelerating when I drive after a short while and it makes a
little grinding type noise

Did you refill with the correct fluid and level? I would suspect it's time for a rebuild.

That was my thinking, someone said it could be the clutches are bad and need replace. Where can I order rebuild kit online for reasonable price and how to tell if it will be compatible with my vehicle
