I have a 2006 Cadillac cts and I need to know what signs tells me if it has a
bad transmission

My 05 went out on me just recent and put a rebuilt in. When I knew it was going out it started to slip. Like when i would reverse engine would rev f for a sec and then take off when it would catch..
