Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has the engine light on at one point it was blinking if I went fast or tried to accelerate it began to shake if I pressed down on the gas it would stop but shake again slowing down, I took it to a shop they said coils & spark plugs were bad. Got them replaced. The car still shakes but the engine light is now stable. It still will not accelerate really and if it does it shakes and the car will cut off.

Clearly it has something else still wrong with it. The check engine light is still on, so there is still one or more trouble codes being set. Get them read again, I'm surprised the shop you took it to didn't address the fact it was still setting codes and not performing as it should. PS: a blinking CEL means STOP DRIVING. You are at risk of causing damage to the engine.
