2011 Hyundai Sonata--I changed my battery on Saturday morning and the ck engine light came on. I followed the instructions in the forum and disc the cables for 1/2 hour then connected the negative cable first then the positive. Light went out than came back on. Went to Autozone and had them run a scan that showed P0106 MAP sensor fault so I replaced the sensor with a brand new one $81.00 and the light was still on. Again I disc the cables and the ck engine light turned off but again turned on. Drove close to 75 miles and still on. I went back to Autozone this morning and when they attached the code reader the light turned off. I drove less than 1/4 mile and it is on again. PLEASE HELP!

the code only tells you where the problem is not what to replace , if their code reader was a bargain one it may not give a full description of the code , they are in the parts selling business not auto repair

If your using autozone parts it maybe defective, it happened to me on a map sensor also, replaced a stock one with an auto zone one it lasted almost months and went bad, replaced it again under their warranty, light would not go off, finally ran a live data scan on it and it was froze, no change in readings no mater what I did, they finally agreed to give me another one and that did the trick. Just cause a part is new doesn't mean it's any good.
