2011 Ram 1500 with Hemi won't start

Asked by Cerahnatalia Dec 29, 2016 at 02:22 PM about the 2010 Dodge RAM 1500 Sport Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turn the key and it made one click and all the
lights throughout the truck started flashing for
about 15 minutes until I pulled the battery cable.
Once the battery was disconnected it let me have
the key back. After reconnecting it and trying
again the same thing happened. I could hear a
small noise coming from under the hood until I
disconnected the battery cable. Battery has a good
charge. The dashboard shows the red lightning
bolt and it also had a red light on in the right
corner when it would not release the key. Now
dashboard has engine light flashing and the
lightning bolt when I try to turn on the truck. The
lights radio air conditioner everything inside
quotes in the last key position before starting the
truck. But when I turn the key it makes clicks one
time and then all the lights start flashing from the
Depo control at my left knee to the radio non-stop
until the battery is disconnected. Anyone have any
idea what is going on?

Try your spare key to see if it is a problem with the key or something else.
