2010 F150 fan control knob

Asked by Adamc1980 Aug 12, 2018 at 03:28 PM about the 2010 Ford F-150 XL SuperCab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Fan only worked on 3 and 4 since I bought the
truck a year ago. Then this morning fan wouldn't
work at all. Drove for a minute and fan came on.
Next time I drove a few hours later fan wouldn't
work again and still is not working.

Burned switch connector is a very common problem you may have to change the switch and replace connector it's available from ford and parts stores. I'm quite confident this will be your fix, if not the blower resistor will be the next stop remove it if it's bad you will see it hope this helps

Check the blower motor resistor. It should be located behind the glovebox on your vehicle. Takes about five minutes to replace. There should be some videos on the net showing you how.
