My 2010 Honda Fit failed inspection last week because the emission monitors had failed. Can u help?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This was possibly because my battery died once about four months ago (i left a door
ajar). So I'm wondering how many more miles does it take to reset the emission
monitors so the car can 'Pass'? The inspector and other websites say anywhere from 50
to 1500 miles!

Sounds to me like it's an issue with the O2 sensors rather than a reset. Also vehicles reset their computers through a mix of different types of driving style so it is hard to say when all of those conditions are met. However in my experience it usually happens within 4-5 days.
