07' honda fit, NO KEY

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

so guys the other day I purchased a 07' Fit with one key, and after a trip down to my local Walmart I have lost my key. I sked around the store and nobody found it so now I have an automobile stuck in the lot.
where can I get a new key from at reasonable price and a friend has told me they will have to reprogramme the M.M.U (motor management unit)
any help appreciated

New key needed and YES needs to be reprogrammed...locksmith can do it..but they tend to rip people off..very expensive...try dealer to see what option they give you..

Same thing happened to me few days ago; lost my key. I went to the key duplicator shop and they charged me Php 2,800 (1 US Dollar = 55 Php) for the fabrication of a new specialized key for honda fit including the labor service charge. I believe that it is better to pay for the cost even though it is expensive than to leave your car unattended for long a time in an unsafe place.
