Cobalt keeps dying !
I have a 2010 chevy cobalt. When I bought the car the
alarm button on the fob wasent working but I just blew it
off. After a few months my car started to die (a lot) now it
dies literally every time I turn my car off. I have a portable
jumper in my trunk just to go to the store. They said my
battery and alternator was fine and it had something to
do with my alarm system. I tried to get it removed but it
wouldnt deactivate. I neeeeddd help!! What's wrong, how
much will it take to fix, or should I just get a new car
I have read allot on this subject and it could be a few things causing your issue. First clean both posts on the battery and under as shown in the photo clean any corrosion. Make sure all your connections are tight, check all the grounds on the car, clean and check as well. I also read about the hood latch connection not making proper contact and the door contacts as well not making the proper connections. You may want to take the car to Auto Zone if one is near you and have the car read for any codes this may help pin point any other issues, good luck
