Question type: General

I bought a used 2005 ford explorer and it has a
factory alarm system but I don't have a remote or a
smart key I just lock the doors with the windows
down and reach in unlock the door and the alarm
will ring how can I get a remote or a smart key

Your best bet is to go to a local dealer. They will be able to help you and program a new key fob.

But off Amazon 12 or 13 bucks then put key in ignition rapidly turn on pos off pos approx 12 times within 10 seconds stopping on the on pos locks should engage and disengage the you should press lock and unlock button on your new key fob
