Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Malibu and my car will not go over
45 mph and it acts like it do not want to shift
gears and transmission fluid was all over the
engine and my car started smoking I stopped for
a while and then it started back running
But it jerks and will not shift gears

That is because it is probably low on fluid due to the transmission fluid leak. Do not continue to drive it without fluid. Repair the leak and refill the fluid with the correct type and proper level and hope you don't have any permanent damage.
