Jetta Transmission

Asked by Bebo215 Oct 22, 2016 at 04:33 AM about the 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Jetta 2009
First of all my car (Auto Transmission) had an
accident and the front took a big hit but the engine
was fine..
It's been a few months now and i noticed lately
The cars transmission sometimes for a few
seconds won't shift..
Now i noticed that the car itself is shaking a little
bit u might not even feel it but it goes on  u can
really feel it going faster than 100km
I know the advice is to buy a new one but i can't
afford that at the moment
So am not sure if i do a scan it will tell me there's
something
Because after fixing it we did a scan and it was
fine

Well if you took a big hit as you say and the car is shaking wouldn't you think that the rattling would be the car body?

No, i wish it was that but i changed the bumper and a few things before the accident.. and the suspension system after. so the body is in good shape
