THE PASENGER SIDE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN FROM INSIDE BUT OPENS FROM OUTSIDE

Sounds like the steel rod that connects your inside handle has popped off either at the handle end or the locking mechanism that releases the door from the latch. You would have to take the interior door panel off and then the protective water plastic barrier to access the rods.

This happened to me and I ended up replacing the lock actuator. I watched a youtube video on how to install it on my own, the door was super easy to take apart and put together again, all you need is a screwdriver and a star drill tip. I bought the part on amazon and it took me less than 20 mins to install. Hope this helps!
