Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, this is about the only flaw that I can find on my car, from the manufacturer.  Whenever it rains, as soon as I open my driver or passenger door, water from the roof drips on my seat and the plastic strip that runs across my door on the bottom (kick Plate?).  It drives me crazy. You would think that they would have made the roof of the car hangover the inside of the car a bit more, so that this would not happen.  This will be my first winter with the car and the same thing is going to happen when there is snow on my roof.  Is there any kind of drip edge or piece of plastic that anyone makes to go on the roof, over the door, that would hang over the opening of the car, so that this will not happen?  Thank you!!!!!

Yes, Auto Vent Shade probably makes something that will cure this. I had a Sebring Convertible that was the same way. What made it worse was they had no "lip" on the A-pillars, so any time you washed the windshield, you got a washer-fluid shower.
