AC compressor locks in-&-out volunterly

Asked by merisen May 31, 2015 at 02:23 AM about the 2009 Kia Spectra EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

AC compressor cluch locks in & out itself when AC is on. 134a gas is filled and  pressure is good. My mechanic removed the relay from the fuse- box and short sercuted with a wire. It is running  continuous and blowing cold air, but I'm afraid the compressor might fry up. What might be the issue here? Any tip and input helps a lot.

You can't run the A/C all the time, replace the relay with a new one that your mechanic removed.
