Ford 6.0

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does anyone know about the problems with the 6.0 diesel. I have been reading some
people say that it's mostly due to bad maintenance. I am asking because its in my
excursion.  Didn't know if I should be worried. Also I was wanting to put a chip in it for
better gas, but heard that is another issue that causes them to break down.

The 6.0 should be left alone. No chip. Regular mantance. By 2005 most of the problems had been worked out. Again, do yourself a favor. LEAVE IT ALONE.
