I have just purchased a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. It may sound silly, but I am curious as to why my vehilcle in the back simply states JEEP. It does not say Laredo. I see other Jeep Laredos that state Laredo on the rear door, Can anyone tell me why this would be?

even though it is a laredo, there are still different packages, it could be as simple as the previous owner removed it, or is the base model, v-6, limited, and rocky mountain packages are different badges/ features, chrome door handles/etc. which engine is yours?

Hi Mark, Thanks foe the feedback. My engine is is listed as 3.7L V6 MPI SOHC 12V. I still don`t think I get it. Should it not state on the rear door the model? Why do other models state what it is? Thanks, Tom
