I may have an exhaust leak into cabin. Is this common?

Slight smell then mild headache. The car is intact, just bought it about a month ago. Seems like something came loose, though no rattles. Where should I look for a likely source? Checked the upper engine area, seems OK. Head gasket? Exhaust manifold?

Take it to your local Mercedes-Benz dealer this vehicle is unsafe and unhealthy for you and your family to drive! Carbon Monoxide is no joke!

Getting a headache from your car is far from normal! Like the guy above said, get it looked at as soon as possible. In fact, the next time you drive your car should be to the garage and nowhere else.

Drive to repair shop with windows open until it is fixed.It is a life threatening situation.
