Should I keep my overdrive button on while I am in town?

Asked by Lance Jan 07, 2015 at 05:11 PM about the 2009 Nissan Versa S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes it doesnt want to shift from
takoff

1 Answer

Personally, in my Corolla, I keep the O/D off be-boppin around town when the fastest I go is 40, it helps deceleration and I don't like going 40 @ 1500 rpm---which is what happens if I let the O/D kick on. BUT that has nothing to do with shifting from takeoff. Maybe check the fluid.
