Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 Nissan Versa. I need to replace the
license plate bulb, but my trunk doesn't open and
the back seats don't fold down. Is there a way I can
change it from the outside?

I would think the trunk not opening would be higher on the to do list than a license plate bulb. Why won't it open, was the car damage in the rear?

Can you see the bulb from the outside? If so. grab it and twist or pull it from its socket and put a new one in.

You can access the bulb from the opening above the license plate. You might have to lay on your back to see it. Pop the clip with a trim tool that holds the light assembly so it dangles off the wiring so you can replace the bulb.
